For more than six decades Swagelok has been a trusted name in the fluid system industry. The Swagelok brand is synonymous with quality, performance and reliability. In 1947, Fred A. Lennon (1905-1998) founded Swagelok Company with a $500 loan and the promise of a colleague's design for an easy-to-install, leak-tight tube fitting. Commitment to quality was always a mainstay for Swagelok Company; Lennon's mantra became: "Make the best product possible to help customers succeed, and keep making it better."

Today, the tube fitting remains at the core of our product offering. Leveraging our core values of Innovation and Continuous Improvement, the current iteration of our two-ferrule, mechanical grip tube fitting employs an Advanced-Geometry, Hinging-Colleting Back Ferrule Design1 to help installers make more consistent, leak-tight tube connections. A patented case hardening process and patented recessed and contoured geometry provide a unique engineered advantage enabling:

To meet the growing needs of our customers, the original Swagelok tube fitting is complimented by a complete product basket, some of which include valve products, pressure regulators, hose products, quick connects, medium and high pressure cone & thread products and most recently, Smart products which couple directly to your sampling system to capture and report critical information. Swagelok continues to rely on robust, in-house research and development to bring new products to market, as well as improve upon established design standards for existing products. Our innovative spirit has allowed Swagelok to emerge as a thought leader on metallurgy and corrosion issues, and is the reason behind our portfolio of intellectual property, which boasts more than 200 patents worldwide. Furthermore, as our economic environments shifts, we're positioning ourselves to be not only a component supplier, but rather a total solution provider.
